Real estate is a service business and one Realtor, Taylor T. Jackson with Greenwood King Properties, takes this seriously. She is passionate and well-invested in her clients loving their homes at the end of the process.
“I think for most people, the prospect of buying a home can be overwhelming, so I believe that educating clients is important. I provide current information on the market, as well as data on homes in their targeted neighborhoods. I encourage them to visit open houses to narrow in on the features of a home that are important to them,” Jackson said.
The majority of Jackson’s clients are interested in the close-in neighborhoods, where she also calls home. This includes Tanglewood, Briargrove, Briarmeadow, Briargrove Park, Memorial, Heights, West University, River Oaks, and Timbergrove.
“Right now, the housing market in these areas are very active. The more lead time a buyer can give themselves, the more opportunity they will have in terms of the number of homes to choose from. Some clients spend more time than others looking for a home and much of this depends on the criteria the clients are seeking in a home or a certain location,” Jackson said.
Jackson, a native Houstonian, has been in the real estate industry for three years.
“I have always enjoyed following the residential real estate market. In business school I studied entrepreneurship and finance. Real estate has checked all my boxes,” she said.
Prior to real estate, Jackson worked in the luxury jewelry industry, where she honed her skills in alternative marketing vehicles, social media, e-blasts and creative branding.
Jackson holds a Master of Business Administration from Rice University, and is an award-winning Realtor.
Jackson is known for being organized, meeting deadlines for a transaction, someone who loves people, and being responsive and available to her clients.
“I sincerely enjoy getting to know my clients and their families while we are working together. I am also very patient with my clients because I trust when they find the right house they will know it. I also enjoy helping my sellers stage their property, so the home will show in the best possible light. In fact, I keep furniture in my garage that I can use for listings and have grabbed pillows, coffee tables and lamps from my own house in staging homes,” Jackson said.
