D.A. Davidson & Co. Earns Notable M&A Awards, Named USA Investment Bank of the Year, Middle Markets 2018

COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 17, 2018--D.A. Davidson & Co. announced that it was named USA Investment Bank of the Year, Middle Markets 2018, at the 10 th Annual Americas M&A Atlas Awards, hosted by the Global M&A Network.

Along with this prestigious award, D.A. Davidson earned three additional awards for transactions completed during the firm’s fiscal 2018:

Americas Bank M&A Deal of the Year, Americas M&A Atlas Awards – For work on Community Bank’s $903.5 million merger with CVB Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: CVBF). D.A. Davidson acted as exclusive financial advisor to Community Bank, with Rory McKinney, head of investment banking, Ramsey Gregg, managing director, and Nathan Ail, director, leading the transaction.

Americas Food & Beverage M&A Deal of the Year, Americas M&A Atlas Awards – For work with Tecumseh Poultry LLC (dba Smart Chicken® ) in its sale to Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE: TSN). D.A. Davidson served as exclusive financial advisor to Tecumseh Poultry in the transaction, with Jeff Cleveland, managing director, and Geoff Loos, director, leading the transaction.

Consumer Discretionary Deal of the Year Award, from The M&A Advisor – For work on Ju-Ju-Be International’s growth investment from Bregal Partners. D.A. Davidson served as exclusive financial advisor to Ju-Ju-Be in the transaction, with Joe Schimmelpfennig, managing director, and Danny Friedman, director, leading the transaction.
