Longmont Police Notes: Theft Suspects Arrested After Crashing into Patrol Car

Longmont police arrested two women on Tuesday after responding to a theft in the 1200 block of South Hover. The suspects fled in a stolen vehicle, but officers blocked the suspect with the patrol car. The suspects drove into the car and then fled again. They were later found and arrested.

A juvenile was arrested for menacing and possessing a handgun and narcotics on Wednesday in the 2900 block of Nelson Road.

A case of identity theft was reported Wednesday in the 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard.

A vehicle was reported stolen on Tuesday in the 600 block of Rider Ridge Drive.

A homeowner reported her home burglarized on Tuesday in the 500 block of Independence Drive.

A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after police received a report of a drunk driver on Wednesday in the area of 17th Avenue and Alpine Street.

Police arrested a man who was reportedly looking into vehicles on Wednesday in the 1700 block of Princess Drive, and then became uncooperative.
