Gail Noe, 65, Horicon

Gail M. (nee Schoeffel) Noe, 65, Horicon, formerly of Beaver Dam, was called home to her heavenly father while in the arms of her loving husband David and surrounded by her sons and family after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Gail was born the daughter of Eugene and Gloria (Rogers) Schoeffel on March 27, 1953, in Beaver Dam, where she was raised and lived most of her life. She was married to David Noe on Sept. 18, 1976, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. Gail was dedicated homemaker and a very caring and loving mother who loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gail had a true love for God’s animals and rescued many different kinds. She is now tending to all of God’s creatures over the rainbow bridge. Gail truly had a heart of gold.

Gail is survived by her loving husband, David of Horicon; her sons, Jason (Mary) Noe of Waupun, and Jonathan (Brandy) Noe of Beaver Dam; her father, Eugene Schoeffel of Juneau; six grandchildren, Jenni Luther of Watertown, Michael (Christy) Purser of Florida, Corey Purser of Horicon, Dawn Purser of Horicon, David Noe of Beaver Dam, and Brittany Noe of Beaver Dam; eight great-grandchildren; her sisters, Dottie A. Browne of Beaver Dam, and Katherine (Stephen) Gardener of Madison; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother, Gloria.

A memorial gathering will be held at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Justin Lopina will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam at a later date.

Memorials will be directed to charitable organizations supporting Gail’s loves and beliefs.
