ILLINOIS GOVERNOR-PRITZKER

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. _ Illinois’ incoming governor J.B. Pritzker has filled more cabinet positions ahead of his Monday inauguration. The Democrat on Thursday chose another eight members of his administration, including seven women. The (Springfield) State Journal-Register reports Pritzker also continued with a bipartisan approach, asking two of Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner’s agency directors to stay in their jobs. —ILLINOIS LEGISLATURE-HARRIS: Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan has named a Chicago Democrat to be the chamber’s majority leader.

—BLACK LEMUR: Officials of Springfield’s Henson Robinson Zoo say the world’s oldest black lemur in captivity has died.
