Victim of deadly Mansfield crash identified as local woman
MANSFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Authorities have identified the victim of a single-vehicle crash over the weekend as a local woman.
Police on Monday identified the victim of the Sunday crash as 24-year-old Nichole Lodico.
Officers responded at around 4:30 a.m. after receiving several 911 calls about a serious crash on West Street.
Police tell The Sun Chronicle (http://bit.ly/1yGKfR1 ) the driver apparently lost control of her car and struck a large rock and a utility pole.
Lodico, a 2008 graduate of Mansfield High School who later studied at Bristol Community College in Attleboro, was employed at Metro PCS in Mansfield.
The cause remains under investigation.
