Actor Diamond To Leave ‘Homicide’
BALTIMORE (AP) _ Another ``Homicide″ actor is leaving the precinct.
Reed Diamond, who plays Detective Mike Kellerman on the police drama ``Homicide: Life on the Street,″ announced that he will quit the popular series at the end of this season.
``It was just time to move on,″ Diamond said at Friday’s party commemorating the 100th episode. He joined the Baltimore-based show in 1995-1996. His last appearance will come in the season finale May 8.
Andre Braugher, who played Detective Frank Pembleton for six seasons, previously announced plans to leave the show this year. Michele Forbes, who played medical examiner Julianna Cox, already has left.
