Southwest Expands Nonstop Service

DALLAS (AP) _ Southwest Airlines on Tuesday announced expanded nonstop and direct flights between several cities.

Beginning June 10, the Dallas-based airline will add three new daily nonstop flights between Phoenix and Orange County, Calif. and two new daily nonstop flights between Las Vegas and Orange County. The airline also will add a new daily direct flight between Orange County and Nashville, Tenn.

Starting July 5, Southwest will add a daily direct flight between Orange County and Nashville; a daily nonstop flight between Phoenix and Chicago Midway; a daily nonstop flight between Chicago Midway and Tampa, Fla.; one new daily nonstop flight between Portland, Ore. and Phoenix; and one new daily nonstop flight between Phoenix and Tampa.

Direct service means there are one or more stops but no change of plane.
