NATICK, Mass. (AP) — Authorities have released the name of the Framingham man who died in a boating accident in Natick on July Fourth.
A spokesman for the state Environmental Police says 23-year-old Jefferson Nunes fell off a boat on Lake Cochituate (kuh-TITCH’-oo-it) on the afternoon of the holiday and was struck in the head by a boat propeller.
The MetroWest Daily News (http://bit.ly/13AYo4Y ) reports that he was taken to a Boston hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The death remains under investigation.
