Chelmsford Overtakes Rival Lowell

Chelmsford overcame a two-goal halftime deficit while rallying past Lowell, 3-2, in a Merrimack Valley Conference boys soccer game.

Elsewhere, the Littleton girls tied 1-1.

Parker Charter netted its first victory of the fall thanks to getting goals from four different players in the impressive effort.

Patrick Moura, James Phelps, Max Tickner and Jared Osofsky and Patrick Moura scored in Worcester for the Panthers (1-4-1) to keep Abby Kelley winless.

Chelmsford 3

Lowell 2

Goals by George Zuleta and Poe Reh staked Lowell to a 2-0 halftime advantage.

Steven Monsalve added 1 assist for the Red Raiders. Edgar Delannoy made 4 saves in goal for Lowell (4-2-1).

GIRLS

Littleton 1

Oakmont 1

Playing an undefeated Oakmont Regional team, the Tigers played well on their home field to earn the tie.

Oakmont (6-0-1) scored after Littleton had taken a 1-0 lead. Sarah Stearns found the back of the net for Littleton.

Chelmsford 4

Methuen 1

In a game played Tuesday, Chelmsford topped their MVC foes behind 2 goals by Isabelle Cole, including one on a penalty kick, and single tallies from Carly Robinson and then Hannah Polce.

It was the fifth goal of the season for Polce.
