MIGRATORY BIRD REGULATIONS-APOLOGY

ANCHORAGE — State and federal wildlife officials have apologized to Alaska Natives for the enforcement of migratory bird regulations that failed to consider the effects on subsistence practices. SENT: 300 words.

TRAINING FLIGHT CRASH-WILLOW

ANCHORAGE — A small plane crashed north of Anchorage during the pilot’s first night flight training, according to a preliminary report by federal investigators. SENT: 250 words.
