Omro man arrested for fourth OWI by State Patrol

KEWAUSKUM – A 30-year-old Omro man was arrested for his fourth offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated after State Patrol used Narcan to revive him on Thursday morning.

According to a press release from Wisconsin State Patrol, the Waukesha Post arrested Vince L. Heath following a one vehicle crash on Interstate 41 near Highway 28 on Thursday at 2:30 a.m.

According to the press release, Heath was driving north on Interstate 41 when his vehicle struck the median cable barrier which prevented it from crossing into southbound traffic. Troopers arrived on scene and issued one dose of naloxone to the unresponsive driver. After the naloxone was administered, Heath regained consciousness. Heath was transported to St. Josephs Hospital in West Bend where a search warrant was obtained for a legal blood draw. Results of the blood draw are pending.

The Wisconsin State Patrol was assisted by the Washington County Sheriffs Department, Kohlsville First Responders and Kewauskum Rescue.
