Sheriff’s office: Man left work release, attacked wife
LACOMBE, La. (AP) — A Louisiana man is accused of forcing his way into a home where his wife and child were staying and shoving his wife to the floor, while he was out on work release.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Keith Bickham was being housed at a privately run work release facility in Livingston Parish, and is now in the Livingston Parish jail.
A news release Wednesday said he now also faces charges of home invasion and domestic violence battery with child endangerment in St. Tammany Parish.
He allegedly took his employer’s pickup truck, drove from Livingston Parish to Lacombe, attacked the woman shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, then followed her to her workplace.
Deputies from St. Tammany and Livingston parishes arrested Bickham when he returned to Livingston Parish.
