Some Lawrence and Scioto roads still affected by high water

HANGING ROCK, Ohio - While Ohio 217 at Linnville in Lawrence County reopened to traffic Monday, several other state roads in Lawrence and Scioto counties remain closed due to high water, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Ohio 650 at the U.S. 52 overpass in Hanging Rock remained closed due to high water.

Several state roads in the Portsmouth also remained closed Monday afternoon. They included: Second Street Bridge at Ohio 73, Ohio 239 between U.S. 52 and Ohio 73 in West Portsmouth and Ohio 73 East at U.S. 52 and Ohio 852 west of Portsmouth, according to a news release.
