BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — A 27-year-old man pulled from a northeast Colorado creek has died.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office says a call for a water rescue about seven miles (11.2 kilometers) west of Boulder was made about 6 p.m. Wednesday.

It says a man was pulled from the creek unconscious and not breathing.

The man was taken to Boulder Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The man’s name has not been released pending the notification of family.

The sheriff’s office says there were no signs of foul play and any investigation and official cause of death will be determined by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.
