Schools seek top alumni nominees

The Watertown Unified School District is taking nomination forms for the 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award. The Distinguished Alumni Award was formed in purpose of providing current students and the community with a vision of the legacies of Watertown High School.

The eligibility and criteria for nomination for the award is one or more of the following:

-- Nominees should be graduates of the Watertown Unified School District who have received diplomas.

-- The nominee has gone on after high school to serve their communities and world through their careers, vocations or service dedication, or through a variety of endeavors, including professional, athletic/entertainment, science/technology, community/governmental service, or entrepreneur/industrial.

-- The nominee has made an outstanding contribution to society.

-- The nominee has displayed outstanding leadership.

-- The nominee is a person of historical significance.

-- The nominee has been a prominent local, state, national or world figure.

Nomination forms are available at the Educational Services Center at 111 Dodge Street, or can be found at www.watertown.k12.wi.us/district/distinguishedalumniaward.cfm.
