Donald L. “Ebo” Ebert, 59, Columbus, died Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Columbus Community Hospital.

He was born Sept. 18, 1959, in Columbus, to Jerome and Darlene (Dawson) Ebert. He was a 1978 graduate of the Fall River High School and began working for Rozinski Construction. Ebo continued in the construction trade for 30 years. He was recently employed at Robbins Manufacturing in Fall River. Ebo enjoyed hunting all game including deer, pheasant, duck and turkey. Most of all, Ebo loved his black labs and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Darlene Abegglen of Endeavor; two sisters, Patricia Dykstra of Randolph and Carol (Guppy) Kanas of Endeavor; two brothers, Michael (Chris) Ebert of Fall River and Steve (Lori) Ebert of Clarkston, Washington; special friends, Pam, Amber and Justin Pribbenow of Jefferson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry in 1998; nephew, Billy Dykstra; and stepfather, Lloyd Abegglen.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, at the Fall River Cemetery in Fall River. The Rev. Shaun Hardie will officiate. A gathering to remember Ebo’s life will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, at CJ’s Bar & Grill, 538 S. Main St. in Fall River.
