City Man Injured When Bike Collides With Car
SCRANTON — Crews took a bicyclist to Geisinger Community Medical Center after a crash Thursday, police said.
Cassandra Larssen and bicyclist David Maroni collided on Dartmouth Street around 3:31 p.m., Scranton police Lt. Marty Crofton said.
Larssen, 25, 214 N. Fillmore Ave., Scranton, drove a 2005 Pontiac Vibe. She claims that, as she traveled east on Dartmouth Street, Maroni came out of Wolf Court without stopping and hit her car.
Maroni, 23, 1307 Luzerne St., Scranton, said he stopped before entering on to Dartmouth Street after traveling north on Wolf Court, didn’t see Larssen and proceeded to pull out.
Crofton said Maroni, whose bicycle had an engine on it, suffered minor injuries.
