Final LASD bond forum draws about 30 people
Roughly 30 people were in attendance for the final of three Ludington Area School District bond informational forums held at Peterson Auditorium.
The Ludington Area School District Board of Education is asking for more than $100 million to build a new elementary school and make renovations and add new construction to the current secondary school. The bond also includes upgrades to the school’s athletic facilities and transportation department.
Superintendent Jason Kennedy again answered many of the frequently asked questions he has received during the previous two bond forums.
Opening the floor, Kennedy received questions that ranged from, “If the bond does not pass on May 7, what is the next step in the process?” to “Where is the growth predictions (to increase over the next five year) of students coming from?”
