VENTURA, Calif. (AP) _ The Trade Desk Inc. (TTD) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $19.3 million.

The Ventura, California-based company said it had net income of 43 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense, were 60 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 44 cents per share.

The digital-advertising platform operator posted revenue of $112.3 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $103.7 million.

For the current quarter ending in October, The Trade Desk said it expects revenue in the range of $116 million.

The company expects full-year revenue of $456 million.

The Trade Desk shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $93.16, a climb of 73 percent in the last 12 months.
