Housing subdivision one step closer to reality
NORFOLK - The Norfolk Planning Commission recommended a preliminary plat that would make for new housing.
During Tuesday’s meeting, Roger Nadrachal, CEO of NeighborWorks Northeast Nebraska told commissioners the plat is for the eastern portion of the Nor-Park Subdivision.
Nadrachal said the land in question is east of Chestnut Street.
“Lots one through five will be triplexes, then lots six through twelve will be an apartment complex of four different buildings looking at a total of 112 units” Nadrachal said.
He said the hope is to start turning dirt in the spring, pending approval from the city council.
The commissioners voted unanimously to recommend the preliminary plat
