NEW ORLEANS (AP) _ DeWaune Wesley scored 13 of his game-high 17 points in the second half Saturday night to rally the University of New Orleans to a 67-64 victory against Jacksonville.

The Privateers (6-1) won for their sixth straight time and extended their home winning streak to 28 games.

Micah Ross scored 15 points, Jamar Bailey 12, Tyree Jackson 11 and John Knox 10 for the Dolphins (2-6), who did not score in the final two minutes.

Eddie Washington added 16 points, Carlos Hines 11 and Kevin Elliott 10 for the Privateers, who trailed 18-5 after 10 minutes and did not make a field goal until the 9:16 mark of the first half.

Washington blocked a Ross shot with 1:23 remaining, then made two free throws with 40.8 seconds left to put New Orleans ahead to stay at 65-64. Washington scored the final points on a pair of free throws with four seconds remaining.

New Orleans extended its Sun Belt record of consecutive conference home victories to 23, but the Privateers’ school-record streak of 130 straight games with a three-point field goal ended. New Orleans was 0 of 9 from three-point range.

Jacksonville outshot New Orleans 45-37 percent from the field but committed 24 turnovers, 10 more than the Privateers. Four Dolphins fouled out.
