Waupun Police Beat 02-19 to 02-24

Operating while intoxicated — Feb. 19 at 8:01 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on East Lincoln Street at Shaler Drive. A 28-year-old Randolph woman was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated-first offense and was cited for unreasonable speed. The woman was released to a responsible party.

Drugs — Thursday at 2:32 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Fond du Lac Street at East Spring Street. K-9 Boomer was deployed to conduct a sniff of the vehicle. A 37-year-old Waupun man and a 34-year-old Waupun man were taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine drug paraphernalia. The 37-year-old man was also cited for operating after revocation. The men were both transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail.

Detox — Thursday at 12:56 p.m., police responded to a business in the 1000 block of East Main Street for a report of an intoxicated man lying on the ground. A 44-year-old Waupun man was taken into protective custody and transported to the detox facility.

Traffic stop — Thursday at 8:57 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street at Moore Street. A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for operating after suspension.

Traffic stop — Friday at 12:05 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on West Jefferson Street at South State Street. A 33-year-old Jackson woman was cited for operating after revocation.

Traffic stop — Friday at 8:03 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street at South Watertown Street. A 25-year-old Waupun woman was cited for operating after revocation and operating without insurance.

Traffic stop — Saturday at 6:53 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on East Jefferson Street at Washington Avenue. A 40-year-old Brandon man was cited for operating after suspension and non-registration.

Disorderly conduct — Sunday at 11:43 a.m., police responded to a residence in the 700 block of Rock Avenue for an out of control juvenile. Disorderly conduct charges are being referred to Fond du Lac County Intake.

Disorderly conduct — Sunday at 4:21 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 100 block of West Jefferson Street for an injunction violation. A 27-year-old Waupun man was taken into custody for violating a court injunction and disorderly conduct. The man was transported to the Dodge County Jail.
