August 17, 2018

Retirement Center Management has announced it be part of the Houston Leadership Council for this year’s Houston Walk to End Alzheimer’s. RCM’s commitment to this cause includes raising over $80,000 to help increase awareness, improve lives and help find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

RCM corporate and community team members, as well as residents and their families will be participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event on Saturday, Nov. 3. Visit www.alz.org for more information. Leading up to the event, RCM communities are hosting fundraisers throughout the Houston area with 100 percent of all profits going to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Village of River Oaks will be hosting the Haute for the Cause luncheon and fashion show on Thursday, Oct. 23, at the Houston Junior League. The community will partner with Nina McLemore in the River Oaks Shopping Center for the event. McLemore will be showcasing her 2018 fall/winter collection. For more information and sponsorship opportunities, contact Mary Broussard at 713-952-7600.

Many RCM communities will be hosting cake-tasting and auction events. The public is invited to bake two cakes (one for tasting and one for auction) and pay a registration fee of $25. All proceeds from these events go directly to The Alzheimer’s Association.

Visit www.rcmseniorliving.com for more information and other fundraising projects. RCM is committed in getting the community involved and to increase awareness.
