Funeral to be Held Monday With AM-Nicaragua-Plane
MAGNOLIA, Ark. (AP) _ A funeral is set for Monday for one of two Americans killed when Nicaraguan government forces shot down a rebel supply plane, his father said Friday.
The body of Wallace Blaine Sawyer Jr., 41, was to be returned to this southern Arkansas town Saturday morning, said Wallace Blaine Sawyer Sr.
The body arrived in Miami in a gray coffin Friday afternoon, and was immediately transferred to a truck, along with an identical coffin bearing the reamins of pilot Bill Cooper.
Eugene Hasenfus, the American who survived when the plane was hit by a missile Sunday, remained in prison in Nicaragua.
