PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Pope Francis is in Philadelphia this weekend, the fourth and final stop of his trip abroad that first took him to Cuba, then to Washington, D.C., and New York.

After his arrival in the City of Brotherly Love on Saturday morning, he celebrated Mass in front of more than 1,500 people at the Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul. During his homily, he said the future of the church depends on non-clergy and on women.

Later Saturday, Francis delivered a speech on religious freedom and immigration at Independence Hall. On Saturday evening, he was part of a parade for a World Meeting of Families festival. He sat on a stage on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to listen to musical performances and to several families tell their stories of joys and troubles.

Francis is staying at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, in the Philadelphia suburb of Lower Merion, during his visit.
