Police: Hudson Man DWI When He Crashed into House
HUDSON, N.H. -- A Hudson man was allegedly driving while intoxicated when he crashed his pickup truck into a house at 1 Riverview Ave. about 7 p.m. Monday, authorities say.
The driver, 64-year-old Gregory Black, suffered minor injuries, while no injuries were reported inside the home, according to a Hudson Police Department press release.
Black was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center after driving the 2003 Chevy pickup truck into the corner of the house, police said. There was some exterior damage to the front of the home, though the Hudson Building inspector found no structural damage. There was extensive damage done to the truck, police added.
While receiving treatment at the hospital, Black was placed under arrest on suspicion of DWI. He has since been released on bail.
The crash remains under investigation.
