Powerball winner making plans for prize money
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota woman who won a $1 million lottery prize is making plans for to spend some of her winnings.
Tammy Edland, from McHenry, has claimed the Powerball prize she won on the final draw of her Pick & Click online play Jan. 12. Edland says she’d like to remodel her kitchen, buy her husband a new truck and pay off some farm equipment.
Edland won the money by matching the first five numbers in the Powerball game.
