Art on the Green set Aug. 3-5
A marketplace, performance space and a gathering place for friends and families, the yearly Art on the Green event is the highlight of summer in Coeur d’Alene. This summer 190-plus artists, a variety of musicians and performers, and over 500 volunteers will come together to present the 50th annual Art on the Green Aug. 3-5.
Art on the Green is a great place to buy handcrafted works in glass, clay, leather, wood, metal and fiber directly from the artists. Or if you prefer, create your own special art in our hands-on-art area for children — materials and instruction provided.
Enjoy food selections — old favorites and new additions (food booths at the festival are run by dedicated volunteers and the proceeds help to pay for the free entertainment offered all weekend long).
Plan to join in the celebration of art, creativity and friendship at Art on the Green. There is a free shuttle bus between the festival and downtown Coeur d’Alene.
The event has also issued a call for volunteers to help with the festivities.
Art on the Green is run by more than 500 volunteers each summer. Shifts are 2-3 hours long, depending on the station.
The organization has shifts for all ages. To sign up for a shift or find out more about our volunteer opportunities, please contact Jolie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
