PINE BANK, Pa. (AP) _ A fire in a one-story frame house in southwestern Pennsylvania killed four children on Saturday.

The three-room house was consumed in flames when firefighters arrived at about 8:15 a.m., state police Trooper Terry Hunt said

State police fire marshals were still investigating Saturday afternoon and had not determined a cause of the fire.

Killed were 3-year-old twins Ellen and Alan Eddy, Sarah Eddy, 4, and 6-year-old Chrystal Eddy.

The children's father, Charles, suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to a hosptital where he was expected to remain overnight.
