More than 3,000 First Energy customers without power in Cuyahoga County

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- First Energy reports that more than 3,000 of its customers are without power in Cuyahoga County, according to its website.

The majority of the outages are in Cleveland and power is estimated to be restored in the city by 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to its website.

The website does not say what caused the outages, but crews are investigating.

Shaker Heights has just over 1,200 customers without power and is estimated to be restored by the same time, the website says.

Other communities with outages include Broadview Heights (fewer than five); Brook Park (19); Cleveland Heights (94); Euclid (fewer than five); Parma (fewer than five); and Warrensville Heights (fewer than five). These numbers are as of 9:30 p.m. and the times that power will be restored range from 11 p.m. Saturday to 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
