CentralSquare Team Building Results In Donation to Local Community
LAKE MARY, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 29, 2019--A group from CentralSquare’s sales team took time for a corporate social responsibility experience to give back to the local community by preparing 160 solar-car kits for donation along with 32 assembled solar cars to Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennessee. The event took place in Nashville, Tennessee, on January 23, 2019.
CentralSquare worked with Impact 4 Good, a company that focuses on team-building programs that give back to community. For this event, CentralSquare selected “Go GREEN Racing.” Go GREEN Racing focuses on the importance of youth learning about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM education) and alternative energy. CentralSquare participants engaged in an interactive and competitive program to build solar cars in preparation for a time trial and single-elimination tournament. Along the way, teams prepared 160 solar-car kits for children who will be participating in their schools’ hands-on STEM programs. A handwritten “STEM Message of Encouragement” was included with each solar-car kit to motivate and inspire the children.
“We’re pleased to have partnered with Impact 4 Good during our annual sales kickoff,” said CentralSquare CEO Simon Angove. “STEM programs help develop the future generations of talent that will drive innovation in technology leaders like CentralSquare.”
