Fagundez Staying with Revolution

November 6, 2018

The New England Revolution have announced that Leominster’s Diego Fagundez is one of the 15 players the club has picked up options on, meaning the midfielder will return to Foxboro next season.

The 23-year-old played in 33 games in 2018, starting 30 of them, and scored 9 goals to go along with 10 assists.

Fagundez has 50 career goals, with his marker against the Montreal Impact in the season finale making him the youngest player in MLS history to reach that milestone at 23 years, 254 days old.
