OneMain: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ OneMain Holdings Inc. (OMF) on Monday reported second-quarter profit of $7 million.
The Evansville, Indiana-based company said it had profit of 5 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $1.18 per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.16 per share.
The consumer finance company posted revenue of $905 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $685 million, also exceeding Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $676.8 million.
OneMain shares have increased 29 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $33.52, a climb of 25 percent in the last 12 months.
