ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) _ Two teen-agers were arrested Thursday after squeezing a shot off into a crowded public bus and injuring four people, including a toddler, police said.

Isiah Barrett, his wife, 21-month-old daughter and 8-year-old daughter were treated for facial cuts at Anaheim Memorial Medical Center. Doctors removed bullet fragments from the mother's face, hospital spokeswoman Tracy Balen said. All were released.

``Out of nowhere there was just a loud bang,'' Barrett said. ``I turned my face and my daughter had (fallen) to the floor and her right eye was covered with blood.''

Officers arrested a 14-year-old and 15-year-old after receiving information while investigating an unrelated incident, said Sgt. Joe Vargas.

The teens were sent to juvenile detention and charged with aggravated assault and reckless discharge of a firearm. No motive had yet been determined.

Between 30 and 40 people were aboard the Orange County bus.
