Houston woman, 28, in good condition after suffering ‘life threatening’ injuries in single-car crash
HOUSTON, Minn. — A 28-year-old Houston woman is listed in good condition after the vehicle she was driving left the road and went airborne Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Ellen May Johnson was southbound on Hwy. 76 south of Houston when her 2004 Mercury Mountaineer left the roadway to the right. The vehicle went through the ditch and was airborne over a culvert and into a field.
Johnson was wearing a seat belt, but was transported to Gundersen Health System with what the report called “life-threatening” injuries. A hospital spokesperson said Thursday that Johnson was in good condition. A Post Bulletin report said she was in serious condition Wednesday.
Houston County Fire Department and Ambulance and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office assisted on the call.
