CAMPBELL COUNTY SCHOOL SECURITY _ The Campbell County school district will try a new security system that allows students, teachers or visitors to activate an alarm that immediately alerts law-enforcement officers.

ROCK SPRINGS SCHOOL SCHEDULE _ The Rock Springs school district will consider moving to a four-day school week, but officials say nothing has been decided.

SKI AREA REOPENS _ A small ski area in Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountains has opened for the first time in 14 years.

INMATE ESCAPES _ Wyoming prison officials say an inmate has escaped from a facility in Casper.
