Massage therapist charged with unlawful sexual contact
DOVER, Del. (AP) — State officials have suspended the license of a Delaware massage therapist who is facing criminal charges of unlawful sexual contact with female clients.
Delaware’s Secretary of State suspended the license of 48-year-old Christopher D. Dorman of Newark on Wednesday in response to a complaint filed by the state Department of Justice.
The DOJ sought the suspension of Dorman’s license after he was arrested in September on three misdemeanor counts. He is scheduled to appear for an arraignment on Dec. 7.
Authorities say the charges stem from alleged incidents in June 2017 at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Wilmington, and in July 2018 at Massage Envy in Newark.
The complaint alleges that Dorman failed to properly cover the women during massage sessions and touched their breasts or genitals.
