HIGH WINDS-NEBRASKA-IOWA _ The National Weather Service says high winds whipping eastern Nebraska and western Iowa could knock down trees and limbs and knock out power to thousands of people.
PLANT CLOSURE-GOTHENBURG _ An economic development organization says it’s under contract to buy the former Baldwin Filters plant in Gothenburg and attract another employer to the city.
