Dream Summit planned this month

April 15, 2019

KANKAKEE — Residents have a chance to gain insight from others living their dream.

The Dream Summit is set for 6 to 8 p.m. April 24 at the Kankakee Public Library, 210 E. Merchant St. Tickets cost $15.

The summit was organized to give thanks to the city of Kankakee for its support of the new “Felicity Joy Show” on YouTube. The promo video of the show with resident and fashion designer Andrae Terrell has more than 3,000 views on Facebook.

The event will feature a panel discussion that will include Joy; Terrell; Kankakee Mayor Chasity Wells-Armstrong; pastor Grace Gordon Smith, of Kingdom Life Center; Tyeisha Smith, of TYE Creation Kankakee; and Sharon Sykes, author, speaker and radio-TV personality

Also that evening, Joy’s show will tape its season finale. Attendees will be a part of the studio audience, be inspired by the panel and will have an opportunity to meet with marketing experts and coaches who can follow up with them on making sure their inspiration that evening turns into action.

Scholarship opportunities are available. Booths are available to rent for $30 at the summit.

Tickets can be purchased at eventbrite.com or by calling 815-272-5232. That number can also be called for renting a table.
