CBS Adds Twist to New ‘Big Brother’
NEW YORK (AP) _ It’s hard enough living in a camera-filled house for three months with a bunch of strangers. Now, imagine if your ex-flame is one of them.
That’s the twist CBS-TV is using for the fourth season of its reality series ``Big Brother,″ which premieres July 8.
The series follows a group of people living together in a California house. Houseguests vote each other out one by one. At the end of three months, the last remaining houseguest will receive the grand prize of $500,000.
CBS is hoping the ``ex-factor″ will make this summer’s edition unique.
``No reality show has ever done what we’re about to do,″ executive producer Arnold Shapiro said Monday. ``The result is unpredictable. The only certainty is that everyone involved will be shocked and will likely have to rethink their strategy.″
