Pike County Man To Spend 5-10 Years In State Prison For Assaulting Preteen Girl
MILFORD — A Pike County man will spend at least five years in prison for assaulting a girl under 12.
Earlier this month, Pike County President Judge Gregory H. Chelak sentenced Lester Masker, 59, to five to 10 years in state prison on aggravated assault and corruption of minors charges. Masker engaged in “illegal acts” with the child at his Palmyra Twp. home between the years of 2003 and 2005, according to the Pike County District Attorney’s Office. Masker pleaded no contest to the charges.
Masker, based on a previous conviction for involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, incest, indecent assault and corruption of minors, is considered a sexually violent predator. He is subject to registration as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
