CAMBRIDGE, Minn. — Michael Philip Bremseth, 67, passed away at his home in Cambridge April 1, 2019.

He will be remembered for his sensitive soul, love of nature, music and poetry.

Mike attended Waldorf College and the University of Minnesota, and he was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Army. Since Mike was an outdoor enthusiast, he chose a career in forestry and worked for the Department of Natural Resources in Cambridge, for many years. He later worked as an independent flooring contractor.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Norma Bremseth; and his beloved cat, Hans. He is survived by sisters, Suzanne (Dennis) Kastelic of Pueblo, Colo., Cheryl (Ron) Ostern of Prior Lake, Minn., Heidi (Greg) Peterson of North Oaks, Minn., and Dawn (Mark) Rademacher of Eden Prairie, Minn.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of Mike’s life at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home, 311 South Ashland St., Cambridge, Minn. 55008. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Online condolences at www.carlsonlillemoen.com.
