Boys & Girls Clubs rummage sale draws steady foot traffic
BULLHEAD CITY — Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River held a rummage sale over the weekend. It was billed as “huge, massive, gigantic.”
Indeed, volunteers filled the gym with gently used clothes, furniture and other items for which there was no space at the thrift store.
“It’s our first rummage sale,” said club director Autumn Boyle-Robinson. “We got a little overwhelmed with donations at the store. It was a blessing.”
The number of people coming to the event Saturday and Sunday was pretty steady throughout. Moving the extra inventory allows the club to make even more money for its programs, such as Summer Day Camp, which will have close to 500 youths participating, Boyle-Robinson said.
