Osisko Gold: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
MONTREAL (AP) _ Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. (OR) on Wednesday reported a second-quarter loss of $4.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Montreal-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 4 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 3 cents per share.
The mining royalty and exploration company posted revenue of $98.4 million in the period.
Osisko Gold shares have risen 34% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 24% in the last 12 months.
