Police unable to locate suspects who fired shots in parking lot

BARBOURSVILLE — The following information was provided by police reports filed at the Barboursville Police Department:

WANTON ENDANGERMENT: Police responded to a shots fired call just after 3 a.m. March 24 at Lady Godiva’s in the 3600 block of Route 60.

According to the report, a witness, who was standing outside smoking, told police four white males were confronted by a group of three white males. The two groups exchanged words when one of the white males in the group of four pulled a gun, fired one shot in the air and then three shots at the group of three white males. who was standing outside smoking, told police four white males were confronted by a group of three white males. The witness then advised both groups of males fled to their vehicles, then the group of four fired several times at the other vehicle with the three males. The witness was unsure of the types of vehicles, but guessed they were a Honda Civic and a Toyota Camry.

Officers were able to located five 0.380 shell casings in the parking lot, but were unable to make contact with either vehicle.
