Accident Delays Reporters in Utah
PARK CITY, Utah (AP) _ Reporters left behind in Utah when President Clinton cut short a vacation weekend, were further delayed when one of two press buses struck the wing of their charter flight home today.
No one was injured when the bus, which tried to pull too close to the Miami Air plane, struck the tip of the left wing with the front right quarter of the vehicle. There was an immediate scramble to find flights home for some two dozen reporters, cameramen, producers, and a handful of White House press staff.
When the bus hit the plane, glass broke out of the front windows and shattered on the tarmac. Reporters took group photos in front of the debris.
