South Africa 163-3 in 3rd T20 vs. Sri Lanka

HAMBANTOTA, Sri Lanka (AP) — Captain Faf du Plessis hit three sixes and 10 boundaries for a career-best 85 to lift South Africa to a strong 163 for three in the third and final Twenty20 match against Sri Lanka.

Du Plessis went in to bat at No. 3 after losing his opener Henry Davids with no score on the board after electing to bat first at Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium.

He faced 83 deliveries for his runs.

Jean-Paul Duminy continued his top form in the series with a run-a-ball 51, including two sixes and three boundaries.

South Africa has an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
