1. The Sherwood Village shopping center at 42nd Street and Dixie Boulevard will undergo major renovations at the beginning of 2019.

2. An Ector County grand jury indicted a man Monday on a felony capital murder charge after he reportedly choked his pregnant wife then forced his knee into her abdomen while saying he wanted to kill her unborn baby.

3. Odessa police arrested and charged a man Tuesday afternoon after finding him reportedly passed out in a vehicle with multiple drugs and two crying infants.

4. Ector County Commissioners received feedback during a Thursday public hearing on their proposed property tax rate for the 2018-2019 budget and salary increases for all county employees.

5. The Odessa Development Corporation had an informal discussion Tuesday morning to look through two bid proposals for an Odessa housing study and will make a recommendation to City Council before their next meeting.
