Powerball Ticket Worth $150K Sold At Casino
Mohegan Sun Pocono in Plains Twp. sold a Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $150,000 for the Oct. 3 drawing.
The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 41-53-59-63-66, and the Powerball, 3, to win $150,000. Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000. The Power Play multiplier drawn was three.
Mohegan Sun Pocono earns a $500 selling bonus.
The winner is not yet known until the prize is claimed and ticket is validated. The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of the ticket and contact the nearest lottery office. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
This is the second big Pennsylvania Lottery win at a casino in recent months. A Cash 5 jackpot-winning ticket worth $400,000 was sold in August at SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia.
Nearly 37,000 other Powerball tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 9,500 tickets purchased with Power Play that won prizes multiplied by three. Players should check every ticket, every time.
The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $253 million, or $148.4 million cash, for the next drawing. Visit palottery.com to learn how to play Powerball.
